Awww, snap! This story’s gonna get pretty intense! It other news, you may notice I’ve installed this particular comic with a little extra headroom for speech bubbles. I normally like really┬áconcise, punchy dialog, but I felt like cutting any from this one would weaken it. It’s been an ongoing process, but I’m starting to feel more comfortable with not always using the 3-panel format. For the longest time, I was very “No! It MUST be three panels and if it’s more or less, you’re doing it wrong!” and it was one of the reasons I was very reluctant to talk about the comic with people. I still am slightly, and I will happily talk about it because I love it, but I’d much rather show someone the comic and let them enjoy it that way.

Also, when I talk about the comic with new acquaintances, I usually have to field the two questions I get most often: “Can I be in your comic?” and “Want to hear my idea for a character/storyline/strip?”

The answer to both of these questions is the same: “Who are you and how did you get in my bathtub?”
